My new HP+ inkjet printer has a free trial of Instant Ink included. How do I redeem this free trial offer?It’s easy to activate your free trial. Follow the prompts during printer setup to activate Instant Ink. Once your free trial is complete, a monthly fee will apply based on the plan you chose during setup. You can cancel your Instant Ink subscription at any time should you choose.
How does HP Instant Ink work?HP Instant Ink is based on pages, not cartridges. During setup, choose a plan based on the number of pages you would like to print monthly. Your monthly fee allows you to use our subscription cartridges to print your plan pages and includes free delivery and recycling. HP Instant Ink is flexible. You can easily change your plan anytime or cancel the service without penalties, and if you print more, you’ll automatically purchase additional sets of pages.
Will HP Instant Ink work for my printer?HP Instant Ink works with nearly all HP inkjet printers that have a Wi-Fi connection and are 5 years old or newer. Printers that include HP+ are all Instant Ink compatible and include a free trial.

The ink cartridge you receive is special and only works with an HP Instant Ink subscription. Replacement cartridges are sent when your printer tells HP you need more ink, not by the month.
